Trip Overview
4 Days double gorilla trekking flying safari takes you to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park for the best gorilla-trekking adventure and an unforgettable experience. Bwindi Impenetrable National Park is a UNESCO World Heritage site and is home to over 50% of the world’s remaining mountain Gorillas.
Day 1: Fly from Kajjansi and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
You will be picked up after your breakfast and drive to Kajjansi airstrip where you will fly to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park. Basically, it will be a great journey as you will have beautiful views of various landscapes.
On reaching the park, check in at your accommodation, have lunch and relax for the evening as you wait for your biggest adventure the following day.

Day 2: Gorilla Trekking in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park and Batwa cultural experience
After an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for registration and joining others for a gorilla trekking briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your Gorilla Trek. Once this is done, you will trek through thick creepers and undergrowth with your guides to find the Gorillas, which can take you from half an hour to three quarters of the day.
The steeply forested landscape is incredibly dense but crisscrossed by numerous animal trails allowing access to tourists. On your trek, you are likely to spot other primates, birds and rare tree species. After finding the gorillas, you will be allowed to spend one hour with them before trekking back to the park headquarter. This is indeed an extraordinary feeling being with these beautiful yet endangered Creatures. You will be awarded a certificate for participating in gorilla trekking and thus contributing to the conservation of Mountain gorillas. Later after your lunch, you will have the Batwa cultural experience before returning to your lodge for dinner and overnight stay.

Day 3: Relaxation and nature walk in Bwindi Impenetrable National Park
Once again, after an early morning breakfast, you will drive to the park headquarters for registration and joining others for a gorilla trekking briefing about the dos and the don’ts during your
You will go through the same procedure as you prepare for your 2nd Gorilla Trekking experience. You will have another magical hour in the presence of the Gorillas and head back to your lodge for relaxation in the evening.

Day 4: Fly back to Kajjansi airstrip
After your breakfast, you will check out of your lodge and transfer to Kihihi airstrip for your flight back to Kajjansi airstrip.
