10 Days Uganda Primates & Wildlife Safari allows you to experience the best of a Ugandan safari at a more relaxed pace. This tour takes you to Ziwa Rhinoceros Sanctuary, Murchison Falls National Park (MFNP) and Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP) for an opportunity to spot the ‘’Big five’’ African animals (elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion and leopard) by land. By boat, on the Nile River at MFNP and through Kazinga channel in QENP you will have a close-up experience with one of the world’s largest concentrations of hippos, as well as Nile crocodiles, elephants, buffalos and other wildlife along the banks of the water. In QENP you will accompany researchers and guides as they locate radio-collared lions at “Kasenyi planes” and go in search of the famous” Isasha tree-climbing lions”. For your unique primate experience, you will trek to find chimpanzees in Kibale National Park (home to 1,500 chimpanzees and over a dozen monkey species), Golden monkeys in Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and finally, you will have the ultimate experience of spending time with endangered Mountain Gorillas in Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park (a UNESCO World heritage site and home to half of the world’s remaining Mountain Gorillas). At your final destination, Lake Mburo National Park, in addition to game drives, you will have the opportunity to have a more intimate experience with the wildlife of the savannah as you walk within the park with an experienced armed ranger. A guided night game drive offers a good chance of seeing beautiful nocturnal predators such as leopards, African civets and servals.
Day 1: Airport pick up and transfer to your hotel.

Day 2: Visit Ziwa Rhinoceros Sanctuary: rhino tracking and arrive at Murchison Falls National Park (MFNP): sunset game drive
You will be picked up from the hotel early in the morning after your breakfast and set off for Ziwa Rhinoceros Sanctuary on your way to MFNP. ( travel time : 3hrs )
Guided walk with sanctuary rangers (1-2 hours) to encounter the rare White Rhinoceros and have lunch. Arrive at MFNP lodgings, check in, and relax before a sunset/night game drive

Day 3: Murchison Falls National Park: Morning and Evening Game Drive and Nile River Boat Cruise
Early breakfast followed by a morning game drive in MFNP
Boat cruise (3 hours round trip) along the Victoria Nile to the base of Murchison Falls.
Lunch and relaxation followed by an evening game drive.

Day 4: Visit top of Murchison Falls and transfer to Kibale National Park (KNP): evening nature walk
Following breakfast, head to the top of Murchison Falls “also known as Kabalega Falls”, the Nile forces its way through a gap in the rocks that is only 8 meters wide, and tumbles 43 meters before flowing westward into Lake Albert.
Drive to KNP,(Travel Time:7hrs ) stopping for lunch at the city of Fort Portal, and check-in at your lodgings.
Enjoy an evening guided nature walk in the rainforest allowing for the opportunity to see up to a dozen monkey species as well as numerous bird species.

Day 5: Kibale National Park: Chimpanzee tracking and transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park (QENP)
Early morning breakfast and briefing at Park headquarters
2–4-hour chimpanzee tracking expedition (1 hr allowed with the chimpanzees once found) with expert guide followed by lunch
Drive to QENP (Travel Time : 3hrs ) and check into lodgings.

Day 6: Queen Elizabeth National Park: Experiential Lion Tracking and afternoon Boat Cruise at Kazinga Channel.
Early breakfast and then head out to the northern section of the park, known as “Kasenyi planes”, where under the guidance of a ranger guide and researchers you will track majestic lions (approximately 3 hours).
After lunch you will embark on a boat cruise along the Kazinga Channel which will offer you one of the greatest wildlife experiences in Africa and Uganda in particular.
You will return to the lodge with a short sunset game drive

Day 7: QENP: morning game drive then transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park (BIFNP) via Ishasha sector for tree climbing lions.
After breakfast, you will drive through the southern end of QENP to Bwindi Impenetrable National Park viewing game along the way. You will pass through the Ishasha sector of QENP offering the opportunity to spot the famous “Isasha tree climbing lions”.
Upon arrival in BIFNP, you will check in at your lodge and rest before your exciting Gorilla tracking the following day.

Day 8: Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park: Gorilla trekking experience and transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park (MGNP)
Very early breakfast followed by a briefing at Park headquarters before you head into the forest for an encounter with the mountain gorillas. The time taken to track the gorillas can be range from 4 to 7 hours or beyond. Once you locate a gorilla group, you will be allowed only one hour in their presence.
Drive to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park and check into your lodgings.
Relax and have dinner after your rigorous gorilla trek.

Day 9: Mgahinga Gorilla National Park: Golden monkey tracking and Transfer to Lake Mburo National Park: afternoon and evening game drive
Very early breakfast followed by a short briefing at park headquarters before starting on a trek in search of Golden Monkeys (2-4 hrs). Once you locate the Golden monkeys, you’ll be limited to only one hour in their presence. After you will head to Lake Mburo National Park (LMNP) stopping for lunch along the way. ( Travel Time : 5hrs )
Upon arrival to LMNP, you will check in at your lodge and, after a short rest, go on an afternoon game drive.
You may have dinner before or after you head back out for a guided spotlight night game drive

Day 10: Lake Mburo National Park: Morning nature walk and transfer back to Entebbe international Airport
After an early breakfast, return to LMNP for a nature walk (1-2 hrs with an armed ranger guide) allowing you a more intimate experience with the animals and birds of this beautiful area.
Drive back to Entebbe airport for evening flight or overnight accommodations (you must arrange).
